Idalgo - the third piece created under the HD3 Complication brand, is the piece designed by Jorg Hysek himself.
Special HD3 automatic movement. 42 hours power-reserve, 28’800 oscillations per hour.
Functions : jumping (or “flying”) hour aperture, 180° retrograde 60 minute hand, 360° second hand and date display.
Water resistant to 50m.
Ergonomic profile which adapts to different wrists. Engraved with “Limited Edition” number 1/33, … In Rose gold 4n18ct, in Ti8tanium with Rose gold and in Titanium with White gold. Side plate in Titanium fastened by 2 special HD3 screws. Brushed and polished. Height: 39mm, width: 37mm.

VULCANIA

Vulcania est la seconde pièce créée par Fabrice Gonet, une montre incroyable qui est directement inspirée de l’univers de Jules Verne et tire son nom de l’île mystérieuse « Vulcania ».
Son mouvement révolutionnaire, et propre à HD3, un giro-tourbillon exceptionnel a été développé en partenariat avec BNB.
Chacun de ses détails s’inspire du nautisme, des bateaux d’un autre temps et des sous-marins du début du siècle. Sa particularité tient également au fait de son animation au niveau de tous les éléments visibles du mouvement. L’affichage du temps de la Vulcania est définitivement hors du commun : nouvel affichage des heures sur roue avec hublot latéral (9h) et affichage des minutes sur disque qui s’inspire des Chadburn de bateaux (360°).
De plus, sa réserve de marche de 80 heures rappelle un sextant par son esthétisme et on retrouve également un hublot qui donne sur le mécanisme de remontage du mouvement.
A l’arrière de la Vulcania, sur la platine se trouve un hublot qui rappelle ceux du Nautilus, tandis que la carte de l’ile mystérieuse avec ses coordonnées est gravée sur la glace saphir du fond.
Sa conception technique et esthétique a réuni à elle seule 2'000 heures de travail.

Vulcania is the second timepiece designed by Fabrice Gonet, an unbelievable watch directly inspired by the world of Jules Verne and deriving its name from the mysterious island of «Vulcania».
Its revolutionary movement, an exceptional bi-axial tourbillon unique to HD3, was developed in partnership with BNB. All its details owe their inspiration to the naval world, to the great ships of times past and to the first submarines at beginning of the century.
What also makes it so special is the vitality of the visible parts of the movement. The way Vulcania tells the time is definitely unusual: the hours are shown on a wheel through a lateral porthole (9h) and the minutes on a disc like a ship’s Chadburn telegraph (360°).
Its 80-hour power reserve indicator is reminiscent of a sextant and there is also a porthole through which the winding mechanism of the movement can be seen.
Looking behind the Vulcania, there is a porthole on the main plate similar to those of the Nautilus submarine, while the map of the mysterious island and its coordinates are engraved on the sapphire glass back.
Some 2000 hours of work were required for the technical development and design of the Vulcania alone.

 

THREE MINDS

Après avoir chacun créé son propre modèle (Capture pour Valérie, Raptor pour Fabrice et Idalgo pour Jorg), le team de HD3 a imaginé et inventé THREE MINDS.
Le mouvement de Trinity est propre à HD3 et donne une nouvelle perception du temps qui correspond à l’émergence d’une culture horlogère innovante.
Son mécanisme de haute horlogerie, à remontage automatique, devient partie intégrante de l’esthetisme de ce garde-temps d’une ère nouvelle.
Son affichage innovant se fait par le biais de trois disques tournants (heures-minutes-secondes) et donne une apparence surprenante à la lecture du temps.
Sa « carrosserie » a été imaginée et conçue avec le même souci technique et esthetique que pour la réalisation de son « moteur » de haute-horlogerie, et s’intègre parfaitement dans cette image d’avant-garde qui est l’essence même de la créativité de HD3.
Une masse oscillante spécialement développé par HD3 donne au modèle THREE MINDS une toute nouvelle image d’un mouvement automatique.

Ainsi, la boite, le mouvement et le fermoir, sont réunis de façon à former un ensemble, et définissent parfaitement nom « THREE MINDS ».

After each member of the HD3 team had created their own designs (Capture for Valérie, Raptor for Fabrice and Idalgo for Jorg), they together imagined and invented «THREE MINDS».
The THREE MINDS movement is unique to HD3 and gives a new feeling for time, reflecting an emerging and highly innovative watchmaking culture.
The automatic movement, a pure product of the art of fine watchmaking, becomes an integral part of the aesthetic design of this timepiece from a new era. Its innovative display uses three rotating discs for the hours-minutes-seconds - indeed a surprising way of telling the time.
Its «bodywork» was imagined and conceived with the same concern for technical and aesthetic perfection as for the development of the «engine» with its fine watchmaking specification; it ideally reflects the avant-garde image which is the essence of creativity at HD3.
An oscillating rotor developed especially by HD3 adds a totally new image dimension to the THREE MINDS automatic movement.
The folding clasp was specially designed and developed by HD3. Strap: leather or rubber The case, movement and clasp form a harmonious whole, ideally reflecting the name «Trinity».
